The iconic Galle Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the main attraction of the city. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and extensively fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century, the fort showcases a blend of European architectural styles. Bentota is an ideal spot for relaxation and water-based adventures, attracting tourists seeking a mix of sun, sand, and sea.
